Amitabh Bachchan the host of Sony TV’s Kaun Banega Crorepati 14, has tested positive for Covid, on the night of 23 August. The thespian actor and host wrote on his social media handle about testing positive for Covid and taking adequate precautions. This is the second time that Amitabh Bachchan has gotten infected by Covid. Amitabh Bachchan had tested positive for coronavirus in July, 2020 as well. He was admitted to the Nanavati hospital for more than two weeks. His son Abhishek Bachchan had also tested positive around the same time and was shifted with him.

This means that the absence of Amitabh Bachchan will also hamper the shooting schedule of the Sony TV show Kaun Banga Crorepati.
