As known, superstar Aamir Khan is preparing for his upcoming film Sitare Zameen Par, which is set for release in 2025. In addition to this project, Aamir is in discussions with several filmmakers to plan his future lineup. Recently, it was reported that Aamir is in talks with director Rajkumar Santoshi, with whom he worked on Andaz Apna Apna, for a comic film tentatively titled Char Din Ki Zindagi.

In the meantime, Aamir will be filming a cameo for Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Coolie, alongside Rajinikanth. The cameo was agreed upon during their discussions about the superhero project, with Aamir reportedly excited to reunite with Rajinikanth for a special sequence designed by Lokesh.

New developments suggest that Aamir is also in discussions with director Lokesh Kanagaraj for a big-screen entertainer. It was said that the two are exploring the possibility of collaborating on a superhero film. Over the past few months, Aamir and Lokesh have had multiple meetings, exchanging ideas for potential projects. Among these, the superhero film has generated the most excitement, with Lokesh now working on developing the idea with his team of writers before presenting a draft to Aamir.

Both Aamir and Lokesh have been clear about their current commitments. Aamir is busy with Sitare Zameen Par and is also considering future projects with Rajkumar Santoshi, Zoya Akhtar, or Avinash Arjun, which could start production in 2025. Lokesh, meanwhile, is currently working on Coolie and is set to begin shooting Kaithi 2 in 2025. If Aamir approves the script for the superhero film, it could start production in 2026, but the project is still in the early stages of development.

Additionally, Aamir is considering a sequel to his 2008 hit Ghajini. Sources indicate that he has asked producers Allu Aravind and Madhu Mantena to come up with a strong concept for Ghajini 2, which he believes has potential to be expanded into a franchise. If the idea is solidified, Aamir could make history by starring in a sequel to the iconic film. The team is currently brainstorming ideas, and Aamir is waiting for the first draft of the script, much like the superhero project with Lokesh.
