Batla House director Nikhil Advani opens up on the cuts regarding the film from the Delhi High Court

‘Batla House’ is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated movies of the year on the occasion of Independence Day. The story revolves around the real-life encounter case at ‘Batla House’, spearheaded by Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, who had to go through a lot of charges, trials and tribulations throughout the entire incident.

John Abraham has been given the responsibility of spearheading the role and he has definitely looked good enough to do it. But the controversy isn’t over. The Delhi High Court had issued a petition regarding stopping the release of the film on 15th August 2019. However, the decision has been given in favour of the film and the film will release on the 15th itself. Regarding the decision, Nikhil Advani spoke –

“Grateful to the court that the decision has been made in our favor. However, we have been given some cuts. Certain scenes regarding the children and the students need to be modified and also the word ‘Azamgarh’ has to be adjusted.”
