As per the latest reports in News18, the CBFC has sought an explanation from the makers of Bhavai for apparently flouting certification rules and tampering with the content of the film. Reports suggest that since the title of the movie was changed after the certification, it comes under the contravention of the Cinematograph (Certification) rules. The title of the film was reportedly changed after it was accused of hurting religious sentiments.
