This Friday was quite an intense week indeed as it had three major releases. From Kamal Haasan’s Vikram to Akshay Kumar’s Prithviraj and Adivi Sesh starrer ‘Major’, we saw it all. All three movies are quite different from each other as far as genre is concerned and that’s why, all of them have got a decent start at the box office.
Reports in DNA reveal that Kamal Haasan’s film has collected around 34 crores on day 1. Reports reveal that out of the 34 crores, around 30 crores have been minted from the original Tamil version itself. As far as Prithviraj is concerned, the movie opened up to mixed reviews and earned around Rs 10 crores as per reports in Times Of India. On the other hand, Adivi Sesh starrer ‘Major’ has minted around Rs 7 crores as per reports in sacnilk.
