What’s with Sandeep(Arjun Reddy) Vanga and these dark eerie movie titles? Animal which stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra and Bobby Deol, was originally titled Devil, and was offered to some top names in the Telugu film industry, all of whom found it too dark.
Ranbir who loves exploring the dark zone loved the script. Just why the film’s title was changed to Animal is best known to the director and his leading man. However multiple sources reveal that it this would be the darkest most violent film that Ranbir has done to date.
Now comes another announcement from Vanga’s vicinity. After he completes Animal with Ranbir Kapoor Vanga will plunge into a film titled Spirit with Prabhas . This would be Prabhas’ 25th film and therefore very special.
Apparently Spirit is a supernatural thriller on the lines of Manoj Night Shyamalan’s cinema.
Significantly all of Vanga’s films so far—Arjun Reddy, Kabir Singh, Animal, Spirit—station themselves in the dark zone . One hopes to see Vanga make something light-hearted in the future.
