Bollywood’s sizzling on-screen duo, Disha Patani and Tiger Shroff, are all set to reunite for an action-packed adventure in filmmaker Jagan Shakti’s upcoming film “Hero No 1.” The news comes as a delight to fans who have been eagerly waiting to see these two charismatic actors share the screen once again. The announcement also quashes previous rumors of Sara Ali Khan’s involvement in the project, as she had initially been roped in for a role.

Jagan Shakti, known for his directorial brilliance in “Mission Mangal,” confirmed the casting decision, and he had nothing but praises for Disha Patani’s exceptional fitness and action prowess. He stated, “Disha is the fittest and apt to do action. Sara was definitely a part of it, but unfortunately, we couldn’t match the date.”

The film is not just about the dynamic duo of Disha and Tiger; it’s also a two-heroine project, with Pashmina Roshan, cousin of the illustrious Hrithik Roshan, playing Tiger’s love interest. This addition promises to bring a fresh and captivating element to the storyline. Despite initial speculations, “Hero No 1” is an entirely standalone film and not a remake or sequel to the Govinda-starrer of the same name, which was directed by David Dhawan and released in 1997.

The project is backed by Jackky Bhagnani’s production house, making it a promising endeavor with a strong foundation. Production for “Hero No 1” is set to kick off in January 2024, with the initial shooting taking place in the vibrant city of London. Disha Patani and Tiger Shroff’s on-screen chemistry and dynamic performances have been the talk of the town ever since they collaborated in “Baaghi 2.”
