National Award-winning actor Ayushmann Khurrana with his upcoming next, ‘Dream Girl’, has piqued the interests of the audience with yet another new quirky content and a tricky subject movie where the actor is once again all set to win hearts of the audience with his complete transformation in a new look — that of a woman dressed in a saree. The actor, known for his brave choice of films right from Vicky Donor to his journey to ‘Dream Girl’, talks about his character in ‘Dream Girl’.

Ayushmann Khurrana, who always comes up with versatile content in every film he does, talking about his role in ‘Dream girl’ and his choice of unique films, shares,

“More than pressure, now I have the confidence to be brave with my choices, as my sensibility has worked with the audience. I don’t want to put any additional pressure on myself. Many subjects are taboo in India. As an artiste, I get the opportunity to explore them and my discomfort in the films evokes laughter”.

Ayushmann Khuranna has had six back to back hits and the actor who does not always look for box -office numbers, looks for content-rich stories, which attempt to bring change in society. His bravest choice of films has led the actor to come a long way and ‘Dream Girl’ is testimony that Ayushmann can ace any role and impress the critics and the audience. The actor will also be seen in the Shubh Mangal Saavdhan sequel, essaying a gay lover, and in Bala, a small-town guy who is struggling with premature balding.

Boasting of a crackling ensemble cast of Annu Kapoor, Vijay Raaz, Manjot Singh, Nidhi Bisht, Rajesh Sharma, Abhishek Banerjee and Raj Bhansali, Dream Girl is directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, and is produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms. Dream Girl is all set to release on 13th September 2019.
