Esha Deol calls father Dharmendra ‘possessive & orthodox’, deets inside

Find out why Esha Deol is calling her father Dharmendra 'possessive and orthodox'

Esha Deol is one of the finest and prettiest actresses of the Hindi film industry and when it comes to creating an impact with her work, she has done so earlier in many movies like Dhoom, No Entry, Na Tum Jaano Na Hum, Kaal, Yuva, Kuch Toh Hai & many more. She made a comeback earlier as an actress in Ram Kamal Mukherjee’s Cakewalk and now, she’s become a producer with her latest release in Ek Duaa.

During a recent conversation with The Indian Express, Esha was heard talking about her father Dharmendra and his conservative approach towards her entering the world of acting. She was quoted saying,

“I wouldn’t say that they have it tough. Yes, there is a different level of challenge and boys too have their own set. As far as my father is concerned, he is possessive and orthodox, and for him, girls should be kept away from the world in a protected way. That was what he must have felt, also knowing how our industry functions. All said and done, we managed and how!”

Ek Duaa directed by Ram Kamal Mukherjee is presently receiving a lot of love and appreciation from the audience. Let us know your views about Esha in the comments below and for more updates, stay tuned to IWMBuzz.com
