Bollywood’s Khiladi Akshay Kumar is working on an upcoming project Capsule Gill, which is a biographical drama film based on chief mining engineer Jaswant Singh Gill. Khiladi Kumar will play the titular role of Jaswant Singh Gill in the film while “Ishaqzaade ” fame Parineeti Chopra is playing the female lead in the film.
Based on the 1989 Raniganj Coal Mining Tragedy, the film is being directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, best known for directing Sharman Joshi and Meera Chopra starrer 2016 horror film 1920: London. The film is backed by Jackky Bhagnani and Vashu Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment and is being co-produced by Ajay Kapoor.
As per reports in the media, besides the said actors, Ravi Kishan, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Ananth Mahadevan, Varun Badola, and Rajesh Sharma have also been roped to play key roles in the film.
Now, we have exclusively learnt that talented actor Sahil Patel known for his work in projects like Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Action Jackson, Baar Baar Dekho, and Coolie No. 1, has bagged the movie. The actor is currently shooting for the movie in London.
