Shivani Sopori, the veteran actress, who has entertained masses in projects like Kumkum Bhagya, Mere Dad Ki Dulhan, 14 Phere, Bell Bottom and Satellite Shankar, has bagged a new movie. As per a credible source, Shivani will be a part of Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani starrer Jug Jugg Jeeyo.
Backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, the film is directed by Raj Mehta and also stars Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor. Last December, the shooting of the film was briefly halted after Raj, Neetu and Varun had tested positive for Covid-19.
As per reports in Film Fare, the story is said to be a tale of two couples from different generations, entangled around the issues post marriage. The premise beautifully merges the generation gap, and puts out a unique point of about love, but with ample of humour.
