News is being spiralled that Jee Le Zaara helmed by Farhan Akhtar is going on hold, which was set to hit the floors for shooting this year July-August. However, as reports state that the postponement occurred due to Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt’s pregnancies. The film was set to star two actresses along with Priyanka Chopra in the leads.
On June 27, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor announced that they are expecting their first child together. The couple got married this year in April. The duo has been dating each other for five years before that and were overjoyed to announce their pregnancy on social media.
On the other hand, Katrina Kaif’s pregnancy news also hit the headlines. However, the actress and Vicky Kaushal didn’t make any official confirmation on it, but their close friends have informed them that the couple is planning for a family soon and is planning for a baby even if though Kaif isn’t carrying it, as mentioned by Bombay Times.
Bombay Times sharing the deets on social media, stated, “Alia Bhatt is pregnant and the Bhatts and Kapoors are delirious with joy. There is a strong buzz that Katrina Kaif is also in the family way, but no official announcement has come from her end, though her friends say that she is definitely planning a baby if she’s not already carrying.”
Taking insights from ETimes, it added, “ETimes had broken the news to you sometime ago that Farhan Akhtar’s film ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ which stars these two ladies and Priyanka Chopra has been put on hold and will start only next year. The film was supposed to go on floors in July or latest by August this year. Now, we hear that Alia and Katrina’s plans to start a family was the reason. Apparently, Alia informed Farhan first. Katrina too is said to have had some talk with Farhan in this regard.”
A source close to Bombay Times said, “Katrina, Alia and Priyanka have a lot of respect for Farhan and they are equally excited about ‘Jee Le Zaraa’. They will definitely do the film at their earliest.”
