The highly anticipated film Amaran has unveiled its first look. It features Sai Pallavi as Indhu Rebecca Varghese, the bereaved wife of Major Mukund Varadarajan. Directed by Rajkumar Periaswamy and produced by Kamal Haasan, this biographical action drama pays tribute to the martyred major.

Sai Pallavi, known for her exceptional acting skills, has once again captivated audiences with her simple yet defined look as Indhu. Major Mukund Varadarajan, a decorated war hero, laid down his life during a counter-terrorism operation in Jammu and Kashmir. Posthumously awarded the Ashoka Chakra, his wife, Indhu, received the honor from former President Pranab Mukherjee on January 26, 2015.

“Amaran” is a unique biographical representation of a war hero in Tamil cinema. Sivakarthikeyan, essaying the role of the late major, marks his 21st film with this project. The ensemble cast includes Bhuvan Arora, Rahul Bose, Gaurav Venkatesh, and Shreekumar.
