The notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi headed out to kill Salman Khan back in 2018 over Chinkara hunting case. He revealed this during an interrogation post his arrest. He revealed that he wanted to kill Salman Khan for his Chinkara hunting case back in 1998 when he was in Rajasthan shooting for Hum Saath Saath Hai.

It was further reported that Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang members sent threatening notes to Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan which stated that the father-son duo shall meet a similar fate as Sidhu Moosewala who was shot in broad daylight in Punjab violence.

He further added that the Chinkara in Rajasthan is very dear to their community in Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan.

Talking of the killing of blackbucks, Salman Khan was sentenced to five years back in 2018, however, he challenged the conviction. Reports say that he was in Jodhpur Jail for some time and later was shifted to Bharatpur Jail.

Lawrence Bishnoi let the police know that Sampat Nehra was moved to Mumbai to kill Salman Khan and did recce around the actor’s home. Bishnoi purportedly let the police know that Nehra just had a gun and didn’t have a significant distance shooting weapon and could go after Khan in good ways.

The hoodlum then arranged an RK Spring rifle through a man recognized as Dinesh Dagar. The rifle was purchased for Rs 4 lakh.
