It’s been a little over a year now that Bollywood’s beloved ‘Hawa Hawai’ lady, Sridevi, is no more with us. The actress passed away under unexpected circumstances last year and fans and family were naturally dejected to see their favorite star no more. The biggest impact was on the family, including young Janhvi Kapoor as she had often expressed her excitement regarding how much her mother was looking forward to seeing her on the silver screen in her debut movie.
Alas, that couldn’t happen and Janhvi being a very strong lady from within somehow managed to cope with the internal healing amidst all the unwanted media glare and attention. A lot of credit must also go to Arjun Kapoor who although doesn’t share the best of relationships with father Boney Kapoor, stayed strong as a pillar for his father and sister, realizing that it’s the time for crisis and the family should stay together.
One year down the line, another emotional moment hit the family as Madam Tussaud’s Museum, Singapore, decided to dedicate a wax statue to the great Sridevi for her contribution to the film industry. The entire family, the likes of Boney Kapoor and the two sisters were present at the wax statue launch and it was surely an emotional moment for all to see the wax statue of their favorite. Well, here’s hoping the Kapoor family manages to stay strong, especially young Janhvi and Khushi, as they are truly dealing with something very difficult in a very early phase of their life and career.
