The film fraternity lost two gems of actors in the span of 24 hours, Angrezi Medium actor Irrfan Khan and veteran actor Rishi Kapoor passed away. And now we have another news of a death to report. The CRO of Film & TV producers Guild, Kulmeet Makkar has passed away.
According to the latest media report, he had had a heart attack that cost him his life. Kulmeet had been in Dharamsala, Himachal Pradesh where he has been stationed since the lockdown was announced due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kulmeet Makkar had extensively worked in the entertainment industry for about three decades. He is known to have worked with Saregama, at Reliance Entertainment as Founder of Big Music & Home Entertainment. Prior to his role of CEO at Film & TV Producers Guild, he was also a president and CEO at Shreya entertainment.
Karan Johar mourned his loss by taking to his twitter handle.
