Jr NTR is one of the most admired and appreciated actors that we have in the country. The actor has been a rage and a sensation in the South regional entertainment industry for the longest time and make no mistake, his swag and charm is such that anything and everything that he does manages to grab eyeballs for all the right reasons. Apart from being a talented and entertaining superstar, Jr. NTR is also someone who’s a phenomenal dancer and no wonder, he’s flaunted and showcased his incredible dancing talent on many occasions in the past. As far as talent and potential is concerned ladies and gentlemen, he had recently shown the same to one and all with his phenomenal performance in the movie ‘RRR’. The movie didn’t just win hearts in the Indian entertainment industry but also abroad. In fact, the song ‘Naatu Naatu’ also won the prestigious Golden Globes, thereby helping it earn International recognition at the global stage. While everything was absolutely perfect and fine at the Golden Globes, one thing which didn’t go down well with Jr. NTR fans was the fact that he was trolled for allegedly having a fake accent. Well, as per reports in News18, Jr. NTR indirectly addressed the controversy. During an interview with LA Times newspaper, he was quoted as saying,
“I always felt this man was not destined to make only films in Telugu or in India. He is one of those rare phenomenons who can travel the globe with his films. With each film, he’s only gotten better. I feel that RRR was his plan of taking the West. What makes us very proud is that a small industry from South India, Tollywood, and one movie called RRR could open the gates to global cinema and bring us here. We are just divided by time zones and a little bit of an accent. Other than that, what an actor goes through in the West is exactly the same process as in the East.”
