The fans of superstars, Ajay Devgn and Kajol have something to look forward to, as both actors will portray cops in their upcoming projects, Singham Again and Do Patti, respectively. The husband-wife duo will each be seen in uniform, adding to the anticipation among their fanbase, where Devgn is reprising his much-loved role of a cop while Kajol will be playing a cop for the first time.
At the trailer launch of Do Patti in Mumbai on Monday, Kajol appeared in a lighthearted mood, humorously referring to herself as the “real Singham.” She remarked that she had previously stated on multiple occasions that she considers herself the original Singham, adding that she did not take any advice from her husband Ajay, who plays the iconic character.
Kajol also shared her thoughts on wearing a police uniform for the role. She mentioned that putting on the uniform brings a certain stature and presence, even while acting. She explained that it naturally affects posture and brings a sense of authority, something she truly enjoyed experiencing. Kajol added that she would love to take on similar roles in the future.
Do Patti, directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, also features Kriti Sanon and Shaheer Sheikh in key roles. The film is set to premiere on Netflix on October 25 and is produced by Kanika Dhillon and Kriti Sanon. On the other hand, Singham Again, a mega commercial potboiler is set to release on Diwali, November 1 clashing with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
