It’s been quite a long time that both Kangana Ranaut and Javed Akhtar have been involved in a legal tussle with each other. It all started when Kangana Ranaut didn’t shy away from expressing her dislike for Javed Akhtar on multiple public platforms. That’s when soon after that, Javed filed a defamation case against the Manikarnika actress and ever since then, the trial has been on. While we have earlier heard many updates around the case, this time, we hear something entirely different and unexpected.
If the latest media reports in Hindustan Times are to be believed, Kangana wants her sister Rangoli Chandel to record her statement in the case. Kangana has reportedly moved the application before Metropolitan Magistrate R R Khan and the said application was submitted by Kangana’s lawyer, Advocate Rizwan Siddique on Friday. Reports further reveal that the court has now kept the matter for order on August 11.
