From being a part of commercially successful movies to critically-acclaimed projects, she has seen it all. For the past few months, she had been massively trolled for reportedly charging a huge remuneration for the role of ‘Sita’. Well finally, the actress has finally broken her silence on the same. She was quoted by The Guardian, TOI and News18 as saying,
“Just a few years ago, no one would talk about a man or woman actually getting equal pay in a movie. Now, there are a lot of us being very vocal about it. I make it quite clear what I want and I think that respect should be given.”
