While people still follow online portals and tabloids to know all the latest buzz in Bollywood, the real dope we get about everything in showbiz is our social media platforms. Well, it’s true our celebrities posts and pictures tell us all, and paint the real picture. And hence it is much proven that Ekta Kapoor and Kartik Aaryan are surely the latest social media friends in B-town.

Yesterday Kartik Aaryan shared a lovely post on the occasion of his sister Kritika’s birthday whom he fondly calls as Dr Kiki. He shared few pictures from the initimate stay-at-home birthday celebration and also the pictures of the cake he baked for her (well, tried to bake!). He captioned the picture saying, ‘Lockdown ka fayda – Celebrating Kittu’s bday together after 7 years. Chota Cake Banane gaya, Bada Biscuit ban gaya. Happy Birthday Doctor Kiki. Pride of the family. @dr.kiki_’

Now amidst baseless rumours that Ekta Kapoor is miffed with Aaryan for hiking his fees and turning down her film offer, the business tycoon dropped a comment on the post by leaving three red-heart emoticons. Clearly stating that there is no bad blood between the two. To which Kartik replied, ‘@ektakapoor Now Kittu is asking for Gift – Kasauti’s Sequel (joined hands emoji)’ Well looks like his sister loves the old-school romance especially the way TV Czarina used narrate it on television. For those who don’t know few days back, when Ekta commented on his Instagram post, Kartik had replied saying his mother wants a reboot to Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki. Looks like Kartik’s family is a fan of the K serials and their mutual social media admiration is too cute.

Ekta Kapoor and Kartik Aaryan are often seen commenting on each other’s posts. The actor and producer have remained good friends and appreciate each other’s work on public platforms.
