Kartik Aaryan’s Film Sold To Netflix For A Staggering Amount? Netflix Sources Deny The Story

Kartik Aaryan movie on Netflix update

Almost every two weeks one hears a story about Kartik Aryan making a whopping amount of money through a movie deal. While we are happy for Kartik and his allegedly growing wealth , there is reason to believe that the figures being put on behalf of the Punchnamaa star by his marketing team are not just premature, but also untrue.

The latest story doing the rounds is that the Kartik starrer Dhamaka directed by Ram Madhvani has been sold to Netflix for 85 crores.

But when I spoke to Netflix sources they denied any such deal.

“At best the film is under negotiation for purchase . The amount being quoted has been denied by us .And yet it continues to be put out,” says the Netflix source.

Earlier there were stories of Kartik being paid 20 crore rupees for his ten-day’s work in Dhamaka. To claim such preposterous windfalls as fee during these times of recession is not just insensitive but also damaging to the whole movie market.

Sources from the Dhamaka team laughed off the figure. But the star’s marketing team claimed they had documents to prove their claim which they would happily show me.

I am still waiting to see the documents.
