It came across as a shock earlier in the morning when news about actor Govinda accidentally having shot himself in the leg hit the web. It was said that this happened when he cleaned his licensed revolver just before a planned trip to Kolkata. His manager explained that the incident occurred as he was preparing the firearm, leading to a bullet wound. Govinda was swiftly taken to Criticare Hospital in Juhu, where doctors successfully removed the bullet.
At the time of the incident, Govinda’s wife was in Kolkata, but she immediately rushed back to Mumbai upon hearing the news. Currently, their daughter remains by his side at the hospital. The actor later reassured fans with a message from the hospital, confirming that he was safe and recovering.
Shortly after the news surfaced, actress Kashmera Shah was spotted visiting Govinda in the hospital. As known, Kashmera is married to Krushna Abhishek, Govinda’s nephew. Despite a long-standing rift between Govinda and his nephew’s family, Kashmera’s visit—without Krushna—has sparked speculation that the family feud may be softening. Media and paparazzi gathered outside the hospital as Kashmera made her way inside, but she paid little attention to them, focused on seeing Govinda.
The family tension has been public for a while. Recently, Govinda’s wife, Sunita, expressed her strained relationship with Krushna and Kashmera during an appearance on the podcast Timeout With Ankit, explaining that their differences have kept her from appearing on The Kapil Sharma Show, where Krushna is a regular. Sunita agreed that she doesn’t do the show because she doesn’t get along with Krushna and Kashmera, and hence doesn’t want to do with if they are around.
Krushna Abhishek also talked about it recently and mentioned that she is like his mother and she has every right to be angry but he will win her over.
