We saw the beautiful Sara Ali Khan stuns in sarees, Ranveer Singh taking his action and style to display, and Sonu Sood bringing the best out of him in Simmba! The film was all we needed to see to play with our emotions upside down. The main roles are always appreciated and so does the villain! Sonu Sood played the role of Druva Ranade which was one of the most hated characters in the film, but to your notice, he wasn’t even the first choice to play the villain.
The original choice was R. Madhavan but he had to quit his role as he was suffering from a severe shoulder injury. He was excited about the project and even showed great interest in playing the antagonist. He expressed his grief on his Twitter handle, this is what he had to say, ‘Hey folks .. So I am a huge crazy fan of Rohit Shetty and his films. As is my son. It breaks both our hearts that I’m not able to be a part of this film because of my injury. I’m well on my way to recovery but this is a huge opportunity and excitement lost.’
