A major update coming in from the Malayalam film industry.
As per the latest media reports in The Indian Express, a case has been filed against Dulquer Salmaan starrer ‘Kurup’ movie in the Kerala High Court. The movie is slated to release in cinemas today. Reports suggest that the PIL was filed by a Kochi resident and it says that the film may infringe the privacy of Sukumara Kurup, the notorious criminal on whom the movie is based. The Kerala High Court has issued notices to the Centre, the state government, Interpol, and film producers in response to the PIL. The court, however, has not issued a stay order on the film.
