Madras HC judge wants actor Suriya to be hauled up for contempt of court

Some shocking news coming in.

As per reports in The Hindu, justice S.M Subramaniam of the Madras High Court has written to Chief Justice Amreshwar Pratap Sahi insisting on the need to initiate ‘suo motu’ criminal contempt against actor Suriya.

Reports suggest that the judge took exception to a statement issued by the actor on Sunday which reportedly claimed that courts were ordering students to write NEET, when the judges were holding only virtual courts due to COVID-19.

We wait to see more on what happens in this case and we look forward to a response from Suriya’s end. For more updates, stay tuned to IWMBuzz.com
