According to Maheep, it all started when she decided to gate-crash a party hosted by Sanjay Kapoor. Reflecting on the event, she revealed that she was heavily intoxicated at the time. That night, apart from meeting Sanjay for the first time, she also met members of his family, including his brother Anil Kapoor and sister-in-law Sunita Kapoor. Despite the unexpected circumstances, Maheep was welcomed by the entire Kapoor family, which played a significant role in the relationship’s progression.
Maheep also revealed that there was no conventional proposal between the two. She humorously shared that while she was drunk, Sanjay simply declared that they were getting married.
