As per the latest reports in Times Of India, Sam D’Souza, one of the people mentioned in the affidavit submitted by Prabhakar Sail, a witness in the Aryan Khan has claimed in a TV interview that SRK’s manager Pooja Dadlani had paid Rs 50 lakhs hoping to save Aryan Khan from arrest but the money was returned when they realized that what they were asking was not possible.
D’Souza has alleged that SRK’s manager gave Rs 50 lakh to K P Gosavi, a witness in the case, but after he came to know that Gosavi was a ‘cheat’, he reportedly asked him to return the money to Pooja Dadlani. In his affidavit, Sail reportedly mentioned that Gosavi, Dadlani, and D’Souza met on October 3. As per reports, the meeting went in the following manner –
A person arrived in a car and handed over Sail two bags, which he took to D’Souza at a five-star hotel. D’Souza reportedly counted the money and said that it was only Rs 38 lakh. Sail then reportedly claimed to have overheard a conversation where Gosavi and the others had been discussing demanding Rs 25 crore, out of which Rs 8 crore was to be reportedly paid to NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede, who is currently being investigated by a vigilance team probing extortion charges against him.
