Shahid Kapoor is currently on a high and a lot of credit for the same goes to the humongous success of his last movie, ‘Kabir Singh’. Better late than never seems to be the thing with Shahid at the moment as despite having worked for so many years in the industry, his biggest commercial hit only came in the form of Kabir Singh. The movie also starred Kiara Advani and is her biggest hit till now. Sandeep Reddy Vanga, director of the original Arjun Reddy directed it. And now post the success of Kabir Singh, Shahid is gearing up for Jersey. And guess who’s the leading lady for Shahid? The gorgeous Mrunal Thakur who’s had a fantastic 2019 with movies like Super 30 and Batla House to her bio.
Mrunal has a television background and has been there for a long time in the industry. Director Gowtam Tinnanuri who helmed the Telugu version of the story will also be helming the Hindi version.
