Aamir Khan is one of the most famous and loved actors in the Indian entertainment industry. The actor has been dominating the entertainment space for more than 30 years and with every passing movie, he only gets bigger and better in the true sense of the term. He’s called a perfectionist for real and that’s why, whenever he comes up with a new movie, the audience is always excited and enthralled to see and understand what’s gonna happen. As far as his next venture is concerned, he is all set and charged up for ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ which is an adaptation of the popular movie ‘Forrest Gump’. As far as his character in Laal Singh Chaddha is concerned, he’s all set to play an ‘innocent’ Punjabi man in the film. While so far, we have heard many interesting stories around the movie, do you all know that it was actually his son Junaid who was supposed to make his debut with the film? Yes, that’s true. During a recent media interaction, Aamir was quoted as saying,
“A lot of people don’t know this and I am saying this for the first time today. We were considering Junaid for the role of Laal in the movie. My son was supposed to play my character in the movie. We even did his screen test and he was better than me. I remember I had grown my beard for 6 months and then we decided that he will do it, I decided to shave off my beard. However, since it is a plot-heavy film, we thought that putting a newcomer will be difficult for a movie like this. We needed a star. That’s where, I decided to come in again. And guess what? I decided to grow my beard again. (Chuckles).”
