Just weeks ahead of the release of the Kartik Aaryan mega-film Shehzada, an online YouTube channel Goldmine Telefkilms will release the dubbed Hindi version of the Telugu original blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo on February 2.
This in principle,means the original film will be accessible to Hindi-speaking audiences ahead of the release of Shehzada. This is not only unethical but also highly unprofessional , as it appears to be a clear example of entrepreneurial sabotage.
Although the multitude of Kartik Aaryan’s fans will see Shehzada regardless of the dubbed Hindi version of the original,producers in Bollywood see this pre-emptive premiering of Dubbed Hindi films ahead of the remakes as a bullying armtwisting tactic.
Last year the producers of Drishyam 2 had to face exactly the same problem when Goldmine Telefilms decided to stream the dubbed Hindi version of the Malayalam original of Drishyam 2 only days ahead of the release of the remake.
