The 94th Academy Awards aka Oscars 2022 was a fun-filled affair. However, there was one controversy that took away the buzz and limelight from the entire awards ceremony and that was the slapgate incident of Will Smith and Chris Rock. While Will Smith has later apologized for the same and Chris Rock too maintained dignity by not reacting to Will with violence, seems like the matter isn’t over.
But hey, has Will invited legal trouble for him due to which he might be arrested? As per reports in NDTV, Will Packer who was sitting with Chris Rock then recalled an incident where the police apparently came to Chris and said the following,
“They were saying, you know, this is battery…. They said we will go get him, we are prepared, we are prepared to get him right now, you can press charges, we can arrest him, you have they were laying out the options.”
Reports reveal that Rock ignored all of this and declined to file a report. Well, that certainly means that he is not getting into any legal trouble as of now until and unless Rock changes his mind and decided to take legal action.
