Bollywood’s beloved Badshah aka Shah Rukh Khan is one person who doesn’t need any introduction. It’s been more than 25 years now that Shah Rukh Khan has been a part of the Hindi film industry and no brownie points for guessing, he’s one of the biggest superstars in the globe. He’s often hailed by many as the second-richest actor in the world and given the fact that this particular tag belongs to an Indian, nothing really means greater than that. The best thing about Shah Rukh Khan has to be the fact that he makes his audience connect to his work emotionally and that’s certainly the sign of a great actor and superstar. After the failure of Zero in box office earlier in the year 2018, Shah Rukh Khan decided to cautiously take a hiatus from acting. Although he perhaps planned to take the same for a year or two, it got stretched due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Finally, after a span of 5 years, our very own Shah Rukh Khan is all set to come up with a new movie. The movie is titled Pathaan and it also has Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in lead roles alongside him. The movie is directed by Siddharth Anand who’s known for his expertise in action films like ‘War’ and others.
While a humongous section of the audience is actually happy for Shah Rukh Khan that he’s coming up with his new movie, it seems like some people are upset as well. As per the latest media reports in Hindustan Times, a protest was held against Pathaan movie in Indore. In the process, Shah Rukh Khan’s effigy was burnt. Reports reveal that there are certain scenes which are apparently objectionable and the use of ‘saffron’ has hurt Hindu sentiments.
