Just like any other week ladies and gentlemen, this week as well, we had two big and important releases in the form of Ponniyin Selvan 1 and Vikram Vedha. While Ponniyin Selvan 1 is helped by none other than Mani Ratnam and has got a fantastic cast in the form of Aishwarya Rai, Trisha Krishnan and others, Vikram Vedha that stars Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles has been directed by the amazing duo of Pushkar-Gayatri.
For quite a long time, fans were eagerly waiting to understand and get an update as to which movie will edge past the other in terms of box office success on day 1. Well, seems like it is PS 1. The movie has collected a massive amount of 25.86 all over the country whereas Hrithik Roshan-Saif Ali Khan’s movie has earned 11.50 crores on day 1. With good and solid word of mouth, both the movies are set to get bigger and better in terms of collections.
