Akshay Kumar is set to throw some kicks and punches with his next ‘Sooryavanshi’.
Akshay will play the lead role of Veer Suryavanshi, a character that was introduced as an Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) officer in a cameo role performed by the Kesari star in Simmba. The film will feature Katrina Kaif as Akshay’s love interest. The film will also star Gulshan Grover and Nikitin Dheer as antagonists.
The film will be produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film is set for a March 2020 opening.
News coming in is that Puneet Raj Bhatia has bagged the above mentioned project. The actor has featured in many commercials and was also seen in the movie Badhaai Ho. He will play the role of a cop.
