Raves Pour In From All Over The World For Janhvi Kapoor

Putting to rest all debate over nepotism which has been raging across the country Janhvi Kpaoor has emerged an all-round winner with her gently persuasive performance in debutant director Saran Sharma’s Gunjan Saxena The Kargil Girl.

Applauding her performance The Guardian , London has headlined its review, ‘Janhvi Kapoor Excels As An Indian Airforce’. The Indian critics have been just as lavish in their praise, if not more.

Barely able to conceal his pride father Boney Kapoor feels this is the best gift his wife the legendary Sridevi could have received on her birthday.

It was Sridevi’s birth anniversary on 13 August.

“I am sure she is watching over Janhvi. It is her mother’s blessings which have borne fruit for Janhvi,” says Boney emotionally.

Critic Raja Sen says Janhvi deserves every bit of the praise. “Janhvi has done an excellent job in Gunjan Saxena. The film is simplistic, but she is earnest enough to make the audience completely root for the underdog. The role may be author-backed, but this is a winning performance.”

Trade Analyst Atul Mohan adds, “She worked hard for it and deserves the praise. Playing a titular role at such an early stage of your career is risky, very risky but she gave it her best shot and emerged a winner.”

Next, Janhvi will be seen in a totally new avatar as in the comedy horror Roohi Afza with Rajkummar Rao.
