The Tollywood industry wasn’t even done with dealing with the loss of their legendary actor Kaikala Satyanarayana garu when we hear the sad and heartbreaking update of another great actor passing away.
Senior and veteran actor Chalapathi Rao who has entertained the South regional entertainment industry for the longest time has unfortunately passed away. He was reportedly 79 when he breathed his last. He passed away at his residence in Hyderabad. The reason behind his demise is said to be cardiac arrest. Known for villain roles, Chalapathi Rao was born at Balliparru in Krishna district in 1944. He also entertained audiences as a comedian in many movies. Acted in 600 and more films, Chalapathi Rao garnered a good reputation in the industry. To mention some of his most famous work, Vetagadu, Yamagola, Aditya 369, Sampoorna Ramayanam, Ninne Pelladatha, Aadi, and Chennakesava Reddy are the ones. His son Ravi Babu is also an actor, producer and director.
