Sad news coming in from the Indian film fraternity.
As per reports in India Today, veteran actor Soumitra Chatterjee has passed away at the age of 85 after fighting a long battle.
Soumitra Chatterjee was admitted in a Kolkata hospital on October 6th after he tested positive for Covid-19.
He was well known for his collaborations with the great Satyajit Ray and he was also a proud recipient of the prestigious Padma Bhushan and Dadasaheb Phalke Award.
