Bollywood star Salman Khan has received a fresh death threat, just days after the killing of his close friend and former Maharashtra minister, Baba Siddique, in Mumbai. The threat, reportedly linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, came through a WhatsApp message sent to the Mumbai Traffic Police. The sender demanded Rs 5 crore from the actor to settle their ongoing conflict with Bishnoi.

The message warned that if Khan did not comply with the demand, his fate could be worse than Siddique’s. According to a report by ANI, the note cautioned, “If Salman Khan wants to stay alive and end the enmity with Lawrence Bishnoi, he must pay Rs 5 crore. Otherwise, his situation will be worse than Baba Siddique’s.”

The entire tweet read – “A threatening message has been received on the WhatsApp number of Mumbai Traffic Police, in which Rs 5 crore has been demanded from actor Salman Khan. The sender claimed, “Don’t take it lightly, if Salman Khan wants to stay alive and wants to end the enmity with Lawrence Bishnoi, then he will have to pay Rs 5 crore. If the money is not given, Salman Khan’s condition will be worse than Baba Siddique. Investigation has been started in this matter: Mumbai Police”

Mumbai Police have launched an investigation to identify the individual behind the threatening message. This is not the first time the actor has faced such threats, particularly from the Bishnoi gang. Over the past few months, Salman Khan has been under increased security due to ongoing threats, which have intensified following Siddique’s murder on October 12.

In an earlier development, Navi Mumbai police arrested a suspect connected to the Bishnoi gang, who allegedly planned to target Khan. The suspect, identified as Sukha or Sukhbir Balbir Singh, was taken into custody in Panipat, Haryana, by Panvel Town police.

Baba Siddique, who was shot outside his son Zeeshan Siddique’s office in Bandra, was close to Khan. Four individuals have been arrested so far in connection with the murder, including Shubham Lonkar, who allegedly claimed on social media that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang was behind the killing.
