Salman Khan, known lately for doing original films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Bharat, Sultan Tubelight and Prem Rattan Dhan Payo , has opted to do a South Indian remake in his latest.Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan .The film is a remake of the 2014 Tamil blockbuster Veeram in which Ajith Kumar played the eldest brother of a rural family where the siblings mutually decide to not get married lest their brotherly bonding suffers.
When his buddy producer Sajid Nadiadwala suggested a remake of Veeram, Khan loved it. Veeram reminded him of his own bonding with his brothers. However Sajid backed out of the project and Salman decided to produce it on his own.
