Akshay Kumar is one of the finest and most amazing actors that we have in the Hindi entertainment industry. The man has been on top of his game right from the beginning of his career and make no mistake, his fans and loyal legion of admirers love him wholeheartedly and unconditionally. Over the years, he has delivered many blockbusters one after the other and no wonder, we can’t keep calm whenever he comes up with a new movie. Although his last movie aka ‘Prithviraj’ didn’t do as well as he would have liked in cinemas, his fan following hasn’t gone down by even an iota.
For quite a long time, there’s been speculations as to whether Akshay is actively joining politics or not. So, what does the superstar have to say about it? Well, asper reports in News 18, during a recent event held at the Institute of Directors at London’s Pall Mall, the superstar was quoted as saying,
“I am very happy making films… As an actor, I do whatever possible to take up social issues. I have produced 150 films, the one nearest to my heart is Raksha Bandhan. I produce commercial films, sometimes with social issues. I produce three-four films a year.”
