Jawan, featuring the charismatic duo of Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara, has set new benchmarks at the box office. Over the weekend, the film amassed an astonishing ₹287 crore in India, marking a spectacular journey from its opening day.

Jawan kick-started its extraordinary run with an opening collection of ₹75 crore, with a  share of ₹65.5 crore coming from the Hindi version, and the rest from the Tamil and Telugu versions. The film’s remarkable journey continued as it raked in ₹53.23 crore on Friday and ₹77.83 crore on Saturday, setting the stage for a historic Sunday.

The pinnacle of Jawan’s success was reached on Sunday when it collected a jaw-dropping ₹81 crore across all languages in India, according to early estimates from Sacnilk.com. This phenomenal performance pushed the movie’s total earnings to a staggering ₹287 crore, reaffirming the enduring appeal of Bollywood’s Badshah, Shah Rukh Khan.

The anticipation surrounding Jawan was palpable, especially following the massive success of Shah Rukh Khan’s earlier release, Pathaan. The film even outshone Pathaan, which had collected ₹280.75 crore in its opening weekend. Deepika Padukone’s extended cameo, Vijay Sethupathi’s compelling portrayal as the prime antagonist, and the talented supporting cast, including Sunil Grover, Sanya Malhotra, Ridhi Dogra, Priyamani, Ashlesha Thakur, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Girija Oak, Lehar Khan, and Aaliyah Qureishi, all contributed to the film’s success.
