Sonam Kapoor sells her Mumbai condo for Rs. 32 Crore

The apartment, which occupies 5,533 square feet in high-end residential development and is situated in one of Mumbai's poshest areas

According to paperwork obtained by real estate advisory company IndexTap.com, Bollywood star Sonam Kapoor has sold her opulent property at Signature Island in Mumbai for about Rs 32 crore.

According to the sale and transfer agreement, the third-floor apartment has a built-up area of 5,533 square feet. Four parking spaces are included with the apartment close to the Bandra Kurla Complex. It is SMF Infrastructure Pvt Ltd that is the buyer.

Sonam Kapoor Pays For Paperwork

According to the paperwork, which was filed on December 29, 2022, a stamp duty of Rs 1.95 crore was paid for the transaction. According to local brokers, the actress may have purchased the flat in 2015 for between Rs. 17 and Rs. 18 crores, and the price at which she sold it is reasonable and equates to about Rs. 60,000 per square foot. However, the actress didn’t respond to anything.

The actress made headlines in February 2022 when jewelry and cash worth Rs 2.4 crore were stolen from her husband’s New Delhi home.

In 2022, 12 residences in Mumbai and Delhi were sold for more than Rs 100 crore. The biggest deal of the year was the sale of a Juhu property for Rs 333 crore and the purchase of that property by Agarwal Holdings Private Limited, a business controlled by the owners of the pharmaceutical manufacturing firm Macleods Pharmaceuticals.
