Sunny Paaji’s ‘Dhai Kilo Ka haat’ is famous since eternity. The actor has been largely responsible for carrying forward the Deol clan and its legacy, which once started with none other than Dharmendra aka Dharam paaji.
And now after years, Sunny has taken the onus upon himself to launch his son and give him the best launch possible. That’s why he chose to direct his son’s debut ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’ himself, and the response for the trailer so far has been fantastic. Most times, when someone’s own family comes forward, especially son or daughter, it’s a very special day for the father. So was today for Sunny Deol, as it was the trailer launch event of none other than his own son’s debut film.
But hats off to Sunny for keeping his political and national duties ahead of his own family celebration. Yesterday, an unfortunate firecracker blast took place in Gurdaspur which resulted in the death of about 23 people. This happened just a day before Karan’s trailer launch.
Although the heart of the father would have been with his son on his very special day, the mind of the responsible politician asked him to be there with the people of Gurdaspur who are in dire need of support. Even Dharam paaji mentioned at the trailer launch that he loves his son for placing his duties before his own. Dharmendra was quoted as saying –
“Sunny came upto me and asked, ‘Papa aap sambhal loge na? Mujhe jaana hai,’ to which I replied, ‘Ja beta. Bilkul fikar mat kar. Main sab sambhal lunga.”
