Surprising: Kantara, KGF Producer Hombale Films To Make Investment Of 3000 Crore In Next 5 Years

The owner of Hombale Films will make a huge investment of rupees 3000 crore in the coming five years in the film industry

Surprising news by Hombale Films owner Vijay Kiragandur to make a massive investment of rupees 3000 crores in the Indian entertainment industry in the coming five years. In the same matter, Vijay Kiragandur tweeted an official statement.

The founder Vijay in an interview, said, “We intend to invest Rs 3,000 crore for the next five years in the entertainment industry in India. We believe the entertainment industry will grow more and more. It will be a mixed bag of stories. Every year there will be five-six films, including one event movie. As of now, we have plans of making movies in all southern languages.”

The production house is planning to produce films in almost every southern language. Also, to reach a large audience with the help of culturally rooted stories. While for more viewership, Bangalore production house decided to join hands with top writers and filmmakers from the Hindi film industry.

Further continuing, he added, “We are working with a couple of writers in Hindi. Once the story is ready then, we will look for directors and then actors. We first concentrate on writers because they are the ones who create the story.”

On the other hand, currently, the production has upcoming releases that include a pan-India film ‘Salaar’ starring Prabhas, that will feature on-screen on 28 September 2023. Prashant Neel directed the film.

In addition, the company is also supporting the multilingual film Dhoomam. Also, an action film in Kannada called Bagheera and many others.

While the company had a big blockbuster in 2022, KGF Chapter 2 ruled at the box office globally. At the same time, Kantara became the highest-grossing film in Karnataka. Both the hits earned over 2000 crore.

While the producer also shared, “There are plans to make ‘KGF 3’. Currently, Prashant is busy with ‘Salaar,’ and once he has completed the movie, then he will work on the script (for ‘KGF 3’). He has a storyline. It can happen next year or after that.”

Promising to produce quality content that will give an ever-lasting memory, the company will produce films in the upcoming years.
