Nusrat Jahan is one of the finest and most popular actresses in the Bengali film industry. Off-late, the actress has been in the spotlight after her controversial marriage with Nikhil Jain. As per reports in Hindustan Times, both Nusrat and Nikhil got married in Turkey in the year 2019. However, in June 2021, she said that their marriage was invalid under Indian laws and could only be considered a live-in relationship.
Since then, she has been subjected to a lot of trolling and negative attention. To slam all those haters, she came all guns blazing during a conversation with India Today and was quoted as saying,
They did not pay for my wedding, they did not pay for the hotel bills. I don’t have to say anything to them. I am honest. I was wrongly portrayed, and now I have clarified it.”
