Urvashi Rautela opened up about her career working with significantly older co-stars, recalling her debut in Singh Saab The Great (2013), where she starred alongside Sunny Deol.

Notably, the age gap between them was 38 years, making her younger than Deol’s sons. Urvashi playfully described this as potentially “the biggest age gap in Bollywood history,” sharing that, if a director believes in the casting, she’s happy to embrace it.

During an interview with iDiva, Urvashi reflected on the opportunities such roles bring, particularly the chance to work with legendary actors who have large fan bases. She pointed out that these dynamics can amplify a film’s reach and appeal. In her view, the unique on-screen value of such pairings is beneficial, even if she wouldn’t choose a similar age gap in her personal life.

Looking ahead, she is set to appear in a major South Indian production with veteran actor Nandamuri Balakrishna, who is in his 60s. Urvashi mentioned that this upcoming role may set a new record for on-screen age gaps in Indian cinema. Although dating older men isn’t something she’d pursue personally, her professional path, she noted, offers a different story.
