On Sunday, a massive avalanche occurred in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. Reportedly, at least 150 people are feared missing after the water level in Dhauliganga river rose suddenly. This led to an avalanche near a power project at Raini village in Tapovan area of the district.
While the relief operation is going on in full swing, people from around the world have been sending in prayers for the people of Uttarakhand. Our Bollywood celebrities including Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and others have also been praying for the well-being of the affected people.
