Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor are two of the most popular and admired actors in the Hindi entertainment industry. While Aamir has been winning everyone’s hearts courtesy of his good work in the industry right from the 80s decade, Kareena came in the industry lot later and by now, she too has done good enough work to impress the masses. Both were earlier fantastic together in 3 Idiots and now, the audience is eagerly waiting to see them together in ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. While there’s a lot been said about Kareena’s work in Laal Singh Chaddha, did you all know that she wasn’t the first choice for the movie? Yes, as per reports in News18, Aamir Khan was quoted saying on Koffee With Karan,
“No, because we were actually thinking about age group. Both the characters have a journey from 18 to 50 years of life. Initially, we thought that the lesser the de-aging the better. And only I should de-age. So we were looking in the age group of 25. So that the actress can look younger and older.”
Aamir spoke about their casting director and further added,
“He showed us her video. Kareena was in that ad too. We were looking at video for someone else. Advait (Chandan) and I were watching the video.”
When Karan Johar asked him next about the actress, Aamir said,
“That’s not important.That girl also was very good. No doubt about it. But when we saw Kareena in that, we were lost in Kareena.”
Well, if speculations were to be believed, there’s a high possibility that the young actress was none other than Manushi Chhillar since she had featured in an advertisement with Kareena Kapoor.
