It is sad that neither of the two big Diwali bashes of Bollywood at the Bachchans and Aamir Khan will be held this year.
There was a time when guests were at a loss as to how to attend both the parties.
In 2013 Aamir Khan’s residence on Carter Road in Bandra was the venue for Aamir Khan’s historic marathon night-long Diwali party.The cards-boozing-eating marathon session kick-started at 8 pm and continued till 11 am the next morning when the last of the guests left after a late breakfast.
Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif , then a couple, were at the party till 8 am.
Hrithik Roshan,Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma , Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff were some of the other guests spotted. Everybody formed small groups throughout the night. There was all-night gambling over poker games , food and drinks flowed throughout the night.
Aamir and Kiran (the a couple, now…status vague) personally looked after all the guests.
Dinner was served all through the night and in the morning the breakfast sessions started. None of Aamir’s guests sneaked out to the Bachchans’ party .Aamir didn’t allow anyone. Some guests dropped in at the Bachchans before reaching Aamir’s party. Once there everyone stayed on.
